- Performance Tyres
Modern motorcycle engines are capable of cranking out an impressive amount of power. However, this means nothing if the wheels can not take it. The tyres of a vehicle may be an overlooked component but they are crucial to getting the best possible performance.
For this reason the best new tyres are designed to grip the road and propel the bike in the most efficient way possible. The type of tyre will depend on the bike model. There are a number of factors to consider. This will include the surface being travelled on, the profile and the tread.
- Liquid Cooling
Powerful engines also tend to overheat easily. The days of relying on atmospheric air to cool them has ended. Instead, more effective methods need to be employed. Models such as the TVS Apache RR 310 use liquid cooling systems.
The heat that is produced by the engine is absorbed into this liquid. This energy is then circulated and finally passed through a radiator. The liquid does not leave the engine but the high temperature does. It is an ideal method of keeping the bike running for long periods of time.
- Aerodynamic Efficiency
New bikes tend to be more lightweight in order to increase their aerodynamic efficiency. The reduced weight means that they have less air resistance. This allows them to perform at their very best. These bikes also often have special channels that can direct wind so that it cools off components that are prone to heating.
